MSM Group has been honored with the “Entrepreneurship and Private Enterprise Champion” award by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), recognizing the company’s contribution to private-sector development and entrepreneurship in Mongolia.

The award was presented as the EBRD marks 20 years of operations in Mongolia, celebrating two decades of supporting businesses, investment, innovation, and sustainable economic development across the country.

MSM Group has been an EBRD client since 2008, building a long-standing partnership focused on strengthening the company’s growth and supporting Mongolia’s non-extractive industries.

Today, MSM Group operates across Mongolia’s automotive, industrial, and beverage sectors, representing internationally recognized brands while creating employment, developing local capabilities, and contributing to the growth of diverse industries beyond the extractive sector.

The recognition comes at a meaningful time as EBRD celebrates its 20-year presence in Mongolia. Over the past two decades, the Bank has committed US$3.2 billion through 172 projects in the country, with the majority of its financing directed toward the private sector.
